I chose to use this location as one to draw from as I feel these spaces that have fallen in to disuse and disrepair have a certain atmosphere to them, they can sometimes feel nostalgic or like a time capsule, like time has stood still.
I also chose this location for the lighting aspect and an opportunity to explore drawing dimly lit spaces so that I might learn something new in my own drawing practice about light and shade.
