Identify - 'Jan Svankmajer - lunch' (OUAN403)

I feel that svankmajer's pixelation has certain characteristics in it that are unique to his work, characters in his animations move rigidly- like every movement that is made is heavily thought about beforehand.
I like how svankmajer's camera shots alternate from extreme close ups and medium shots showing the two different characters and the contrast between them.
The sound design in the animation makes the actions on screen seem more believable. I think svankmajer carefully chose his subjects for the animation as they both seem to have an unnerving look about them, although this could be due to the lighting and the way the pixelation was shot.
as for what the animation is communicating in the literal sense I think that it is about impatience in a restaurant.
I think the use of stop motion clay animation in combination with the pixelation works well to exaggerate the hunger that the characters on screen are feeling.
